Sony Nex 5n Driver For Mac
Can someone with Mac who has done the firmware update for 5N confirm whether I need to start my Mac in the 32-bit mode or not? I'm running OX Lion 10.7.5 On Sony UK site, the only information for 5N and 7 is: 'Applicable Operating System (OS). Mac OS X v.10.5 10.8 ' However on Sony US site I see this: 'Mac OS® X version 10.5, 10.6, or 10.7. Note: Versions 10.6 and 10.7 are not supported in 64-bit kernel mode. If your computer uses the 64-bit kernel by default, you can start up with the 32-bit kernel by holding down the 3 and 2 keys during startup.
Anyone know how the wireles upload from Sony NEX 5RK is supposed to work i have the wirless import software and have configured the camera with the mac to be the destination. This update only applies for NEX-5N cameras that currently have a firmware version 1.01 or lower. If your camera firmware version is already version 1.02, this update is not necessary. Check the version of your camera firmware: Power on the camera. Press the Menu button (upper soft key).

' What about Mountain Lion? It won't run if you are in the wrong mode, so just try it. If it doesn't work, restart in 32 bit mode and repeat. Once finished don't forget to restart in 64 bit mode (I think just restarting is fine).
